Integrative Bodywork &
Massage Therapy
Amanda Dehling is a lifelong Northerner, having lived throughout Alaska, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. After spending the past three years practicing massage therapy in Canada, she is excited to return home to Alaska and begin her next chapter in Juneau.
Amanda studied massage therapy at the Arizona Institute of Integrative Studies and is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Alaska.
At the heart of Amanda’s work is a deep respect for the body and its innate capacity for healing. She believes in vis medicatrix naturae—the body’s natural ability to heal itself when given the space, support, and care it needs.
Through massage therapy and integrative bodywork, Amanda helps clients slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and create space to rest, restore, and repair. Her approach is intuitive, thoughtful, and collaborative. She takes time to listen to each client and tailors every session to what they and their body need that day.
Amanda brings together her professional training, years of hands-on experience, and her lived experience as a Northerner to offer care that is grounded, genuine, and individualized.
For Amanda, bodywork is an opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life, listen to what your body is communicating, and give yourself the time and care to reconnect.
“My intention is to create a space where you can reconnect with your body, find a moment of stillness, and allow yourself the time and care to rest and repair.”
The exciting opportunity to offer this new-to-Alaska modality aligns personally with long held interest and belief in alternative medical approaches. I look forward to meeting you and helping you toward your self-care and fitness goals.
