FLOWpresso® FAQ's

Please reserve 60 minutes for your sessions- this includes transitioning into the suit and time to integrate once out of the suit.  Once fully suited up, your FlowPresso experience typically last 40 minutes. Throughout your personalized journey a fully trained FLOWpresso® technician will guide and assess your needs, as well as adjust programming so you can feel comfortable, relaxed and secure.

Hydrate well the day of your appointment (before and after).

Take an Epsom salt bath or foot soak after the session.  By having several, regular sessions with FLOWpresso, it creates the opportunity to hone in on what your body needs to repair, rejuvenate and recover.

You can receive FLOWpresso therapy as often as twice a week, but the average is usuallty once per week.

There should be a minimum of four days between sessions.

This will depend on the person and their goal(s) for the FLOWpresso sessions.  Athletes please allow a minimum of 6 weekly sessions for your initial series.  For stress relief, sleep support and other wellness goals, a series of 3-6 sessions is ideal to start.  After the initial series, it is recommended to enjoy a weekly, biweekly or monthly session for maintaining optimal wellness state. For others who are training for competitions, regular FlowPresso sessions can assist your recovery and performance.

Lying horizontally and fully clothed, the state-of-the-art bodysuit gently wraps your limbs, abdomen and feet. An eye mask and headphones are available and recommended for extra ambience.

As the session starts, you will feel a gentle squeezing sensation as the air chambers of the bodysuit inflate and deflate, moving from your feet towards your torso. This therapy encourages flow through your body by fostering a deep sense of tranquility. During treatment, you may experience clarity, emotional release, mindfulness and relaxation or fall asleep in the FLOWpresso peacefulness.

Your practitioner will be assisting the process.

Absolutely! Your FLOWpresso technician will work with you to find the perfect setting for you each time you don the suit.

If you do experience any side effects or reactions after a FlowPresso® session, it may indicate long-standing stagnation and/or toxins in your body that have built up and the body is working to re-regulate or detoxify.

Depending on your response or reaction, it is strongly encouraged that you:

  1. supplement with binders and drainage support;
  2. consider a foundational health protocol to open your drainage and detox pathways (available through AIA);
  3. Consider working with a functional health provider to determine through labs if toxicity, mold, viruses, heavy metals, gut imbalances, trauma/emotional needs are influencing your health conditions.*

*FlowPresso® sessions are a valuable tool in a functional health treatment plan.

Most people feel a sense of calm or peace after a FLOWpresso® session but they can also expereence a release of emotions as they let go of cellular memories.  This is short term and just part of the body letting go of what no longer serves it.  Your technician and the room you’re in are a safe place for this to occur.
