About Alpine Integrative Acupuncture
About Jill Still, MAc.
Hi, I’m Jill Still — Clinic Owner, Integrative Acupuncturist, and Advanced Health Consultant.
Here at AIA, we’re committed to bringing cutting-edge technology to Juneau while also sharing integrative health techniques you can use from your own home.
But the work I do today is rooted in a very personal journey.
My story began long before I became a practitioner — it began as a patient.
In April 2012, I was recovering from a car accident when a massage therapist suggested I try Five Element Acupuncture. At that point, I was exhausted from piecing together treatments and trying to function through pain, frustration, and a sense that something deeper had gone missing within me.
I didn’t know what to expect — but what happened surprised me.
After my very first session, I felt reconnected to myself and the world around me.
I felt lighter.
I could laugh again.
There was a sense of ease, clarity, and presence that had been missing for months.
The pain wasn’t the center of my life anymore.
I felt more like me.
And that shift opened everything.
Acupuncture helped every other therapy work better.
The more I continued, the more I noticed something remarkable:
My other treatments started creating deeper results — the kind that finally felt transformative rather than temporary.
Physical therapy
Cranial sacral therapy
Neurofeedback
EMDR
Chiropractic care
Mental health counseling
Meditation practices
It was as if acupuncture reconnected the wiring that allowed all these modalities to actually “land” in my system.
For the first time, healing didn’t feel like a fight — it felt like a conversation.
My journey into acupuncture began as a client… and slowly became a calling.
Those early sessions opened something inside me — not just physically, but personally.
I began realizing how deeply the body, mind, and spirit work together… and how much potential most of us never get taught to access.
Over time, that personal experience turned into a professional path.
Not because I had “figured everything out,” but because something in me kept leaning toward the question:
“What else is possible?”
So I followed that question — into training, mentorships, advanced certifications, and eventually into serving hundreds of clients.
AIA grew from that curiosity — and continues to grow from it.
As I immersed myself in mentorship programs with functional health doctors and integrative practitioners across the lower 48, I realized that Alaska deserved the same level of multidisciplinary, forward-thinking care.
That meant expanding what AIA could offer — not just acupuncture, but education and services that help people tap into their own health potential:
Functional health approaches
Advanced testing and technology
At-home integrative tools
Client-centered coaching
And a clinic environment built on presence, honesty, and possibility
We provide both in-person and Telehealth care because healing shouldn’t be limited by geography.
What I believe — and what guides this clinic
Over the years, I’ve learned that healing isn’t linear.
It’s layered.
It deepens as you deepen.
And while my accident, symptoms, and questions began this journey, the truth is:
I’m still learning.
I’m still expanding.
I’m still discovering what it means to live in a body that’s capable of more than we’ve been taught to expect.
What I want — for myself and for everyone who walks through our doors — is this:
A little more space to explore.
A little more room to listen inward.
A little more openness to how the body responds when we support it well.
A little more curiosity about what’s possible.
Not to get it “right.”
But because exploring is playful, interesting, and opens us to the unimaginable.
I’m not here to walk in front or beside —
I’m here to refresh a path that reminds you what’s possible,
so you can choose the way that’s meant for you.
Welcome to AIA.
Where your healing is not a formula —
it’s a relationship.
Where you’re not expected to perform wellness —
but to rediscover it.
And where your possibilities aren’t handed to you —
they’re opened.
If you live in a remote location accessing care can feel impossible.
We can help.
We use an accessible and scientific surgery and injury support technique (ASSIST) that provides pain relief, decreased inflammation, wound healing, and tissue repair, all done from the convenience of your home.
Clients report faster than expected recovery timelines, with their rehabilitation professionals asking what they did to have such great results.
This technique uses phototherapy patches — all of the benefits are in the patch. You just need a specialist to help you use them to their full potential.
If you are curious, let’s get on a free 15 minute call. We’d be happy to answer your questions and see if our ASSIST technique would be a good fit for you or your family member.
